About the Internship Programme

The Tax Laws Internship Programme offers law students and CA/CS the chance to engage in meaningful research, writing and analysis in the field of Tax Law. The interns will be required to provide high-quality research and writing assistance for various research papers, book projects, blog posts, public interest petitions, reports, advocacy campaigns and other initiatives undertaken by Tax Laws Club with the aim of fostering a more transparent, collaborative and productive Tax Law.

Eligibility

Any law student or law graduate is welcome to apply.

Duration of Internship

The duration of the internship must be four (4) weeks at least. It can extend for as long as you wish, provided you work well.

Mode of Internship

Most of the internship tasks will be co-ordinated via emails etc., so feel free to work from wherever you please.

Perks

  • Internship Certificate – candidates will be awarded an internship certificate upon successful completion of the internship.
  • Stipend – Unpaid
  • LOR – An LOR will be given in exceptional cases.

  • Statement of Purpose (500 words)

The shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a research assignment and the final selection will be made based on their performance in the assignment. We may also conduct a telephonic interview of the shortlisted candidates before making the final selection.

Terms & Conditions

  • If a selected candidate is found to not diligently fulfill his/her obligations at any time during the internship period, we reserve the right to terminate the internship.
  • If the internship is so terminated, the candidate will not be provided with the certificate and stipend.
